The China Sri Lanka Joint Center for Education and Research (CSL CER), University of Ruhuna, successfully hosted the Final Progress Review Meeting of research projects funded under the CSL CER Grant Scheme for the years 2020 and 2021. The meeting took place on 5th August 2025, commencing at 9:00 a.m. at the CSL CER premises.
This review meeting was organized to evaluate the scientific progress, research outcomes, and societal impact of the funded projects, and to encourage productive dialogue among researchers, fostering collaborative and multidisciplinary research in priority areas aligned with sustainable development goals.
Six principal investigators representing leading academic and research institutions in Sri Lanka presented their final findings, covering diverse and timely research topics in the fields of climate, environment, and marine resources. Each presentation was followed by a brief discussion session aimed at constructive feedback and future pathways.
