Successfully Conducted Workshop on Tropical Cyclones at University of Ruhuna

The China Sri Lanka Joint Center for Education and Research (CSL CER) successfully conducted a workshop titled “Introduction to Tropical Cyclones – Genesis, Trends and Impacts” on 27th April 2026 at the University of Ruhuna.

The session was delivered by Dr. Erandani Lakshani, who serves as a Research Fellow at the Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The workshop provided participants with comprehensive insights into the science and impacts of tropical cyclones.
