Successfully Conducted Workshop on Artificial Intelligence in Research
The China Sri Lanka Joint Center for Education and Research (CSL CER) successfully conducted a workshop titled “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence in Research” on 27th April 2026 at the University of Ruhuna.
The session was expertly conducted by Ms. Sahabdeen Aysha Asra, whose insightful and engaging presentation provided participants with valuable knowledge on the growing applications of Artificial Intelligence in modern research practices.
Key areas covered during the workshop included:
- AI tools for literature searching
- AI-assisted academic writing
- Scientific approaches to data analysis using AI
- The broader role, benefits, and ethical considerations of AI in research
The workshop was highly interactive and well-received, equipping participants with practical skills and a deeper understanding of how Artificial Intelligence can support and enhance contemporary research activities.
